My name is Pica – pronounced “pee-ka”, from the Latin word for magpie – and I’m a multimedia artist attempting to survive my late 20’s in the United States. Online (and occasionally in-person) I represent myself as a wolfdog, for a novella-length list of reasons.

Like any good internet weirdo, I have a wide range of interests. Foremost among these are biology and natural history, music, video games, fashion, fantasy (especially xenofiction), and science fiction. My hobbies include looking at and making art in many different mediums; gaming; worldbuilding and writing characters; hiking and foraging; exploring (both physical and digital spaces); and a myriad of other things I don’t have enough time for. I am strongly socially progressive, supportive of disability advocacy, pro-community, anti-capitalist, and anti-AI – I am also uninterested in debating these things, so if you find them objectionable we will probably not get along. That said, in spite of my Fearsome Appearance and occasional tendency to speak like some manner of vampire or wizard, I am very friendly and invite you to reach out if we have any common interests or if you just want to say hi 🙂
